Where to start?
Well, I just moved here from South Carolina to be with my loving wife and children. I’m a professional musician with over 33 years of experience, and have been teaching music for 30 years including all ages and styles.
I love Oklahoma, obviously, and have a lovely home near Edmond, Oklahoma.
I am an active member of the National Music Teachers Association (NMTA), and prior to moving to Oklahoma have been an active worship leader and pastor since 1986.
I enjoy teaching any and all students, no matter the person’s background, music style, age, or religion.
I have gifts in music, voice, and teaching. And I’d like to share these with you so you can realize your full vocal potential.
What to expect from a lesson
You will be encouraged and pushed with positive reinforcement. Through encouragement, we’ll realize your full potential together.
To start, you will learn how to breathe properly. You will be given exercises. But most importantly, you will discover and develop your full voice, which lingers inside you.
Other than your voice, I have all the equipment you need. I have a piano. I also have free wi-fi, a computer you can use to access music, and you can even connect your iPhones. I have a music stand if that helps make you comfortable. And I have sound equipment and a microphone to use in learning microphone technique and song performance movement.
Each lesson is for you. Your lesson will vary and change from week to week based on what “you” want. I’m here to coach and teach you. I’ll guide you. But the ultimate person who will benefit is you (and perhaps the people you’re singing to).
Let’s move this conversation forward and schedule a lesson.
